5 beauty recipes from baking soda

There are hundreds of women who keep baking soda in their kitchen cupboards and use in their recipes. However, soda can also be an excellent cosmetic tool. Here are some simple recipes that you should also try! 

1. Soda can be used as a gentle scrub because it effectively removes old cells of the skin. Just take a teaspoon of soda and stir it in your regular cleansing milk or gel (you can do this just in your palm). Pour a little water, let it to foam and apply on your face. Massage for some seconds and then wash with cold water. The skin becomes smooth and soft. Baking soda has anti-inflammatory properties, so this scrub is especially suitable for sensitive skin.

2. Soda is often used in teeth whitening. If you haven’t tried this, mix your regular paste with some baking soda when cleaning your teeth. This gentle “scrub” will remove stains from the teeth without damaging the enamel.

3. Soda perfectly removes the excess of the fat and helps to get rid of the leftovers of various cosmetic products (such as gel, hair spray, various masks and other). For that, mix your regular shampoo with baking soda (ratio should be 4:1) and wash your hair as usual. Your hair will be very soft and shiny.

4. Soda has been found to be effective tool in getting rid of the spots because its paste dries the skin, reduces inflammation and irritation processes. So, make a paste from some soda and water and put it on the separate pimples, leave for several hours and remove. 

5.If your skin is oily, make a mask with a little baking soda: mix 2 tablespoons of flour with 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Add some water and mix thoroughly to get a smooth paste. Apply this mask with light circular motions onto the cleansed skin and leave for 10 – 15 minutes. Now take a moisten cotton disk and remove your mask.
