Benefits of fresh fish

In many countries fish is considered to be a very important food. Eating fresh fish not only reduces the risk of diabetes but it is also one of the agents affecting your mood. Researchers have found that fatty fish, such as tuna, salmon or mackerel prevents depression. So what are other benefits that fish provides?

First of all it’s healthy heart. As all seafood, fish is high in Omega3 fatty acids, which does plenty of miracles: it increases level of “good” cholesterol and reduces level of the “bad” one. It was found, that those who eat at least 30 grams of fish reduce the risk to have myocardial infarction.

Also fish has lots of B group vitamins. The most important three are B6 (mostly in salmon, shrimps and tuna), B5 (mostly in squid and other seafood) and B 12 (mostly in mackerel, sardines and oysters). These vitamins provide you with power and also help your cells to convert carbohydrates into vital energy.

Another advantage of fish is really important for women. Fish contains vitamins A, B, C and E which are essential for your skin. Moreover, it prevents from cancer. In Japan, where people eat lots of fish because of their traditions, there are five times less women suffering from breast cancer.

Fish also strengthens your immune system. Because of weak immune system, we become suspectable to viruses, especially during the cold time of the year, the we suffer from runny nose, respiratory illnesses, throat and tonsil inflammation. You have to take care of your immune system throughout the year. This is a long process so you should constantly care of it.

Make sure to eat enough of fish and you will be able to forget about most of the illnesses.
