You may have already heard that carrots are rich in valuable materials helping to improve beauty and longevity. They contain beta carotene that is converted to the vitamin A in human’s body and are an excellent source of vitamins C, B, D, E. In addition, they contain numerous minerals and trace elements, such as potassium, calcium, phosphorus, iodine, magnesium, manganese, essential oils, sterols, physiologically active substances and other compounds necessary for the body. 

If you thought that that’s the end, nutritionists have discovered yet another useful feature of carrots. Despite the fact that this vegetable is rich in vitamin A and beta-carotene, it seems that it also helps to lose weight!

Therefore, nutritionists have invented the carrot diet helping to lose a kilo only within three days. This surprising effect is received by a large amount of carotene that can be found in carrots. If you start eating according to this diet, you should include carrot salad into your daily menu and eat it instead your dinner. The special recipe includes one large carrot, honey and lemon juice. According to recipe, you should grate the carrot,   pour one teaspoon of honey, some lemon juice and stir thoroughly. You can also add some flavor to your salad too but only by using one single fruit, such as apple, orange or banana. 

So, to get the best result eat this salad instead of your dinner for three days or more. Note that you are not allowed to eat bread, potatoes fried in oil, potato chips and other unhealthy foods! Besides, it is important to keep in mind that you should also drink a glass of milk or eat a spoonful of sour cream before your carrot salad to get the best effect because fat are required so that your body could absorb beta carotene and vitamin C.
