Nutrition guru Andrew Weil claims that certain products can improve both your shape and positively affect your mood. He provides a few tips that should help to improve your mood:

  • Replace your coffee with tea. Try drinking only high quality tea, preferably green, white or oolong tea.
  • Use more herbs when you cook, especially turmeric. Try pairing it with black pepper as it helps to absorb curcumin which is found in turmeric and which works as antidepressant.
  • Do not avoid fat and carbohydrates. Try to keep them in each of your meals. However, this does not mean that you have to cram cookies! Choose whole grain products, replace butter and sour cream with olive oil, avocados and nuts.
