Mustard is a spicy ingredient that is great to eat with meat dishes. People use it for over 5000 years and it is really hard to find the country of mustard’s origin. This spice is used all over the world. But do you know its benefits?

  • Mustard improves blood circulation and has warming effect. That is why it is great to use it during cold season. Mustard helps to overcome cough and runny nose. You just have to make a mustard bath for your feet. Mustard leaves are used to treat bronchitis, rheumatism and radiculitis.

  • Mustard helps to lose weight as it breaks down fat cells. Mustard is often included into anti-cellulite creams.

Mustard is not recommended for people who have high gastric acidity as well as for people who suffer from stomach ulcers. If you use large amounts of it can burn mucous membranes and even cause allergic reaction. Do not eat it before going to bed.
