Omega-3 and blood pressure. Studies have shown that small amounts omega-3 acids help lower blood pressure. So if you have such problems, it is recommended to eat more fish (except, salted and smoked fish).

Omega-3 and depression. Scientists believe that omega-3 fatty acids can have a positive effect on mood disorders and increase the effectiveness of antidepressants. There has been proved that in countries where the population consume more omega-3 fatty acids, the level of depression is lower.
