How to help your throat at home?
 

Throat infection can often end up with laryngitis. Your voice becomes husky or completely disappears, your throat becomes itchy and a dry cough begins. If you one of those who suffer these symptoms, these tips are for you.

Stay quite. Put on a large scarf and stay quite. If you have to talk, whisper. Do not stretch vocal chords as you will make your throat even more dry.

Before going to sleep, drink lots of hot drinks. Make some tea, add a teaspoon of honey and drink it slowly in small sips.

Rinse your throat. Mix equal parts of chamomile and eucalyptus leaves. Use one tablespoon of this mixture for 100 ml boiling water. Leave it for 30-40 minutes and filter it. Rinse your throat with it at least every 2 hours. You can also rinse your throat with salty water. Salt is known to kill bacteria very well.

Do inhalations. You can use most of herbs for them, for example, chamomile, calendula, eucalyptus, coltsfoot, etc. take a big spoon of some herbs and pour one liter of boiling water on them. Cover your head with a towel, bend to the pot with water and herbs and breath the vapor. Soon you should feel a relief.
