Snoring depends on age and gender. Elderly people, especially men snore more often. The most common reasons of snoring are these: overweight, drinking alcohol before going to bed, tobacco, sleeping pills, sleeping on your back, different types of fatigue, crooked nose and so on.

Treatment

Only doctor can tell exact reasons of snoring. You may need to make some exams for that. Doctor chooses the right treatment according to individual patients’ needs and medical condition. Lately, patients are offered to be treated using positive airway pressure therapy. In some cases, surgical treatment is required.
