Spices – killers of fat

Seasoned meals makes us full quicker and they taste much better. Just half teaspoon of red pepper added to a sauce or a teaspoon f mustard with meat can do miracles. They increase our metabolism in 25%. however, it’s not the only advantage of spices.

Cinnamon. If you want to lose weight – it’s the best spice for you. Studies have shown that cinnamon regulates sugar levels in blood and prevents accumulation of fat. Just 0.25 teaspoon of cinnamon per day increases metabolism of carbohydrates by 20 times. Besides, the smell of cinnamon suppresses hunger. Add some cinnamon to your coffee, tea, oatmeal, fruit salad or poultry dishes.

Cayenne pepper are also known to reduce sugar level in blood and increase metabolism. This pepper contains a substance that increases your body temperature. After that our body uses carbohydrates and fats to produce energy 50% more efficiently for approximately 3 hours. Cayenne pepper also stimulates synthesis of epinephrine and norepinephrine and that suppresses appetite too.

Turmeric. It’s a popular Indian spice that is used not only for cooking but also for medicine. It’s a great source of antioxidants that help to fight against free radicals and it has inflammation inhibiting properties. It is interesting that turmeric helps to lose weight too as it prevents fat cells to accumulate fat. Turmeric also improves digestion. Use turmeric in your salad, steamed vegetables, stews and so on.

Cardamon is another very useful Indian spice that burns fat. You can use it in your coffee, tea, poultry dishes, etc.

Anise helps to reduce appetite, it stimulates and refreshes your breath. Ancient Greek athletes used to chew anise seeds in order to create a feeling of satiety.

Ginger increases metabolism in 20%. just like cayenne pepper, it slightly increases body temperature and reduce cholesterol level.

Black pepper breaks down fat cells and speeds up metabolism. If affects our brain and nervous system and forces body to burn more calories.black pepper also helps to fight heartburn, indigestion and flatulence.
