Three symptoms men should never ignore

It’s great if you visit your doctor annually to check for the cancer. Unfortunately, studies have shown that many men ignore various body signs. In reality, it’s very important to listen to your body and notice all unusual, strange, unexplained symptoms. Don’t ignore your relatives’ or friends’ words as well – other people may notice something what we are not able or don’t want to see. The earlier you notice unusual symptoms, the greater is the chance that cancer will be stopped at an early stage. So, here are the signs that men often ignore:

Abdominal pain
One of the first symptoms of colon cancer is abdominal pain. Those men who suffer from pancreatic cancer, described that ‘the pain looks like a pressure from the inside’. Many patients with liver cancer often remember to suffer from abdominal spasms. Patients suffering from both, liver cancer and leukemia, say that they may have felt persistent pain, so if you have been feeling the pain, pressure or digestive problems, ask your doctor to perform a test.

Facial swelling
Some patients that suffer from lung cancer say that before knowing the diagnosis they have been swelling. This is due to the fact that lung tumors found in the chest area block blood vessels and prevent blood from flowing freely to the head and the face.

Nail changes
Changes of the finger nails can be a symptom of some types of cancer. Black or brown stripes or spots under the nails may indicate skin cancer. Extended nail tips, enclosing ends of the fingers may be a
sign of lung cancer. Pale or white nails may indicate the problems of your liver function and sometimes it may announce that you are suffering from liver cancer. If you see the symptoms written above, visit your doctor for a cancer test.
