Try adding honey to your beauty masks
 

Honey has been used since the ancient times. It is believed to enhance the health and preserve the youth. Here are some recipes that, as a royal gift, can be used for beauty.

1. Melt one tablespoon of liquid honey in one tablespoon of hot milk (or sour cream, cottage cheese). You can add a few drops of olive oil or oat flakes.

  1. 2. Mix one teaspoon of honey with one spoon of yolk mixed with cream or cottage cheese. Wash the mask with warm, then cold water.
  2. 3. A mask recommended for dry and pale skin: mix one teaspoon of olive oil, one teaspoon of honey and a half spoon of lemon juice. In addition, soak two cotton disks into this mixture and place it on your face. Clean your skin after twenty minutes with a clean paper tissue.
  3. 4. Softening and nourishing mask for very dry skin: mix one chopped onion with a spoon of honey and apply on this mask on your face. Wipe it with a damp cloth after five minutes.
  4. 5. Skin with big pores is recommended a mask which cleans, tones and purifies: beaten an egg white and put a teaspoon of honey in it. You can make this mask thicker by adding some flour or talc. Now you should apply this mask in three layers –add the next one after every layer has dried. Wash this mask firstly with warm, then with cold water after 20-30 minutes.
  5. In order to tone your skin, mix egg white with a teaspoon of honey, a teaspoon of milk (cheese, cream) and a spoon of lemon juice. This mask is easy to apply. Note that you can add the oatmeal into it.

After applying all these masks your skin should appear smoother and lifted. However, it is not recommended to do use this mask for more than two or three times a month, because honey, especially the fresh one, is a biologically active material.
