The Japanese diet is not very difficult, and during thirteen days you can lose 7-8 kilos. This diet was developed by specialists of Japanese Clinic “Jaeks”. Japanese diet increases your metabolic rate and adjusts your body’s rhythm. And even after finishing this diet your metabolic rate will remain adjusted for 2 – 3 years, regardless of what you eat. It is your choice to believe in this theory or not.

It is strictly forbidden to drink any alcohol, eat cakes and other pastries as well as sweets, during this diet. You will also have to forget about sugar and salt. You can drink as much water as you want – the more, the better. Just make sure it is non-carbonated.

Pros of Japanese diet:

You can lose a lot of weight within two weeks.
You will balance out your metabolism.

Cons of Japanese diet:

You should not follow this diet if you have kidney problems.
It can be very difficult to say no to sweets and sugar for those who cannot live without sugar.
Not everyone may like this food, because you are not allowed to use salt.

Since salt is prohibited, you will get rid of a lot of liquids and thus reduce your weight. When you start eating as usual, fluid levels in your body will be restored, so you may feel a slight increase in your weight again. The diet lasts for 13 days. If the quantity of a certain product is not indicated, it means that you can eat as much of it as you want.

DAY 1

Breakfast: black coffee.
Lunch: 2 hard-boiled eggs, salad from fresh cabbage with vegetable oil, a glass of tomato juice or a tomato.
Dinner: fried or boiled fish, salad of fresh cabbage with vegetable oil.

DAY 2

Breakfast: black coffee with a toast.
Lunch: fried or boiled fish, salad of fresh cabbage with vegetable oil.
Dinner: 200 grams of boiled beef, a glass of buttermilk.

DAY 3

Breakfast: black coffee.
Lunch: 1 boiled egg, three large boiled carrots with vegetable oil.
Dinner: apples.

DAY 4

Breakfast: black coffee.
Lunch: 1 large parsley root fried in vegetable oil, apples.
Dinner: 2 boiled eggs, 200 g of boiled beef, salad of fresh cabbage with vegetable oil.

DAY 5

Breakfast: raw grated carrots mixed with lemon juice.
Lunch: 500 g of boiled fish, a glass of tomato juice (or a tomato).
Dinner: boiled fish, salad of fresh cabbage with vegetable oil.

DAY 6

Breakfast: black coffee.
Lunch: 500 g of boiled chicken, fresh carrots or cabbage salad.
Dinner: 2 hard-boiled eggs, salad from fresh cabbage with vegetable oil.

DAY 7

Breakfast: tea.
Lunch: 200 g of boiled beef, any fruits.
Dinner: You can select from a previous dinner, with the exception of day 3.

From day 8 to 13 you should repeat the diet again starting from the first day. Follow the diet carefully without changing dishes or their order. It is advisable to eat every day at the same time.
