What is worth remembering about rice?

Rice contains almost no fat, it has low protein and no protein gluten which causes severe diarrhea and intestinal mucosal lesions, especially for those who suffer from celiac disease. Rice contains many B group vitamins and iron.

  • Ordinary rice boils about 15 minutes, brown rice – about 40 minutes and steam-treated – about 20-25 minutes.
