What to eat for late dinner?

Easy to digest food. If you don’t want to gain weight, remember that your dinner should be easy to digest. Do not eat meat or smoked products, mushrooms or beans. These products are not digested easily so you will not be able to sleep well. They can also be a reason why you get headaches.

However, you should not eat products that are digested in less than an hour (for example, yogurt) as you will soon feel hungry again. It is the best if you eat dishes that are digested for 2-3 hours (for example, seafood).

Nutritionists also recommend eating products that have positive effect on your sleep and help to fight against insomnia. The best choices are fish, cabbage, cereals, peas and green leafy vegetables. They all contain calcium and magnesium that help your muscles to relax. You can eat such products 2-3 hours before going to bed.
