Foods that boost our immunity

The word “immunity” in most cases is seen as resistance to infectious diseases. However, in the medicine it has a broader meaning. Our immune system is mainly determined by heredity, however it depends a lot on the diet as well. Resistance to diseases is very likely to decrease if we don’t eat properly. This is usually followed by runny nose, coughing, etc.

If you eat food that is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids (especially omega-3), zinc, vitamin C, folic acid, it will make you more resistant to viruses and other possible ailments. Don’t forget to enrich your diet with flaxseed oil, fish, especially salmon, mackerel, pangasius, as well as dark green vegetables (spinach, broccoli, lettuce, parsley).

We all want to be beautiful.  One of the conditions of the beauty is food. Many people think that they should avoid food in order to look beautiful. That is not true. Limiting food and getting too little calories may reduce the amount of necessary nutrients so the body will become resistant. Diet supplements are not a solution here as they will not provide with all necessary nutrients.

In order immunity became strong, your body needs vitamins A, B6, C, D, F, PP. you can find vitamin C in citrus fruit, kiwi, paprika, even sauerkraut. Vitamin A is in vegetable oil, oil fish is a good source of vitamin E. Even if you are on strict diet, enrich your salad with a splash of olive oil.

Strong immunity can be built with a sufficient amount of B vitamins, especially vitamin B6. Usually you cannot feel its lack, but it’s very important for our body.  In order to get vitamin B, choose products containing less processed grains, whole meal bread, etc.
