Eat bananas every single day

Bananas are fruits that are prevalent all over the world. People from Sri Lanka believe that the snake seduced Eve with banana and not with an apple. For Yogis of India it is a very important food: they strengthen your body, nervous system and stimulates mental power.

Bananas can grow up to 10-15 meters tall and the diameter of their stem can be as much as one meter, but they are not considered to be trees. Bananas are perennial grasses.

Most of the fruits are grown when the air temperature is about 27 °C. It is interesting that if you take a good care of banana, it can grow up to 400 fruits. The fruits are collected when they are still green.

Bananas should be in every diet as the have many valuable properties. They contain vitamin C which strengthens our immunity. Vitamin E stops aging and makes our skin firmer. It’s a great prevention against wrinkles. Vitamin PP plays an important role in metabolic processes. Bananas also contain vitamins B1, B2, potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium and some iron. They are especially valuable for your heart as they are rich in potassium. If you eat 3-4 bananas per day, your body gets almost half of the daily recommended amount of potassium.

Bananas reduce the risk of getting heart attack and stroke and prevent occurrence of gastric and duodenal ulcers. Banana juice can be used to treat gastritis.
