More and more often nutritionists talk about 5 foods that are great at improving heart function. Spice up your daily diet with them and you will prevent a lot of heart diseases.

Rye bread. Today the choice of bread is huge, but your heart really likes rye bread, especially if it is seasoned with a variety of seeds. This bread is the most useful. It improves heart function, because  rye flour is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and it contains a lot of laccolitic acid. Rye bread also contains essential amino acids, like methionine and lysine. The latter is specifically involved in hematopoiesis processes.

Salmon. If you want to have a healthy heart, fish should be one of the main dishes. Salmon is surely a great option. Like most of the fish products, salmon contains protein and omega-3 fatty acids, which strengthen the immune system, support activity of the brain, improve memory and reduce the risk of heart arrhythmia and atherosclerosis.

Oil. If you want to strengthen your heart, you should use 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil per day. This is a great monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fat source, which can help reduce cholesterol and blood sugar levels. Choose flaxseed, olives, walnuts or canola oil.

Chia seeds. Chia seeds can be added to any dish. They are enriched in fiber, have 8 times more omega-3 fatty acids than salmon, and 5 times more calcium than milk. Chia seeds lower bad cholesterol levels, and reduces the risk of heart attack.

Raspberries. They are rich in polyphenols and antioxidants that reduce any damages in your body and restores the heart.
