Warm summer weather should encourage people to be more active. However, many people feel tired at this time. In fact, it can occur because of problems with blood vessels which can even lead to stroke. However, you can “train” your blood vessels to make them elastic and clean so you would not have any problems when the weather gets hot. Here are some tips that will help you to do that.
Vitamin C. vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant. If you are not allergic to citrus fruits, include them to your diet. Other good sources of vitamin C are rosehip tea or cranberry juice. You can also prepare a real bomb of vitamin C. chop 2 oranges, 2 lemons and blend them. Add 2 spoons of honey. Put it to the fridge and keep it there for 24 hours. Every time before eating, have 2-3 teaspoons of this mixture.
Green tea. It contains lots of vitamin P which strengthens the walls of blood vessels and prevent internal bleeding. However, you should drink it hot, as cold green tea has big concentration of tannin. Besides, green tea has lots of vitamin C.
Exercising. Doctors say the exercising is the best preventive measure for blood vessels. Exercising activates blood flow. The best choices are jogging, swimming, aerobics and cardio.
Contrast shower. Rotation of hot and cold water is a great exercise for your blood vessels. It makes them much more flexible.
