How to survive after sleepless night?

If you don’t get a chance to have some sleep, you can hardly think about amazing day full of joy. No matter what you did last night – worked or simply had a heavy party, you really need some tips to recover.  So, how to survive this difficult sleepless time and recover? 

Turn on the light. Light reduces body’s production of melatonin. The more melatonin is in your body, the more you will dream about sleep, so in this case, the light will definitely help Keep warm. Have a little jog or just do some exercises to increase your blood flow to the brain. When sitting at your desk, try to sit straight. 

Have a 10 minute nap. Divide the day into several parts and take time to sleep for 10 minutes. During these minutes, the brain switches to sleep mode, and you will feel the body’s recovery. However, this relaxation does not last longer than 10 minutes. If you fall asleep for half an hour, there is a high possibility that you will feel tired.Besides, keep in mind that complete cycle of the sleep lasts about an hour and a half and we just have several such cycles during the night. So, if you are able to do that, sleep at least one such cycle to feel the power surge.

Try to wake up your brain and feel that your whole body is recovered.
Choose only those tasks that require activity from you and your brain. If it’s not possible, then constantly change activity in order to make your brain work in different direction.

Never drive a car if you haven’t slept last night: the same roads, slow-moving cars, warm air in the cabin – all these things will make you sleepy. So, you will not only pose a danger to yourself but others as well. It is far better to leave earlier from home and have a walk and use public transport, which will include you into continuous action.
