Teeth whitening using hydrogen peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide is mainly used to clean wounds and scrapes. It’s an effective one to do that. But what else should we know about properties of this product? Probably you have heard about lightening your hair using peroxide but what about whitening your teeth? Remember that hydrogen peroxide can be found in most of the products for teeth whitening. Some tooth pastes also contain hydrogen peroxide.

Since peroxide has healing properties it will not harm your mouth even if you have small bites there. For teeth whitening you should use 3 percent hydrogen peroxide solution. Make sure the concentration is not higher.

Method 1. brush your teeth with tooth paste that contains fluoride. Then rinse it with hydrogen peroxide (equal parts of water and hydrogen peroxide) for 30-60 seconds. Spit it and rinse your mouth with water. Then you shouldn’t eat at least for one hour. You can do it every single day until you reach the desired effect.

Method 2. Mix baking soda with hydrogen peroxide to make a paste. Apply it on your teeth avoiding your gums. Leave it for 1-2 minutes and rinse it off. Then brush your teeth with a regular tooth paste.

Method 3. mix hydrogen peroxide with two parts of water. Add some salt and baking soda. Rinse your mouth with this mixture and then brush your teeth with toothpaste.
