Buyers should be aware that some products may only just seem to be made from whole grains. For example, bread may be dark because it contains molasses or food dyes. So, do not rely on notes like “Made from various grains” and read the ingredients list. Besides, pay attention to the amount of fiber – if a product was made from raw grains, there must be at least 2 grams of fiber, but more often it is 5 grams or more.
