Refusing breakfast may be a cause of obesity

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. However, many of us are trying to save time or even expect to reduce the intake of daily calories by refusing breakfast. We do not realize that this can be a cause of gaining weight and developing various diseases.

If breakfast or any other meal of the day are omitted our body tends to compensate a lack of calories. Then it requires lots of food that has many calories and we often choose junk food or sweets. With time refusing breakfast can even become fasting. The most serious consequences of that is anorexia and bulimia.

According to statistics women who regularly eat breakfast find it easier to get rid of unwanted kilos and they tend to gain less weight. There are several factors that show the benefits of breakfast. First of all, people who have breakfast do not feel hungry during the day and they do not overeat at night. They choose more natural, healthier and more valuable food that has less sugar and fats. Healthy breakfast provides us energy and we even burn more calories.

Probably one of the most common dietary recommendation is to eat cereal grains for breakfast. It’s a nutritious and energizing food. Try eating oatmeal for breakfast. Oatmeal is very popular in many countries. This porridge is very nutritious, rich in vegetable protein, amino acids, vegetable fat, minerals and vitamins.
