Causes and solutions for bad breath

Probably everybody knows what it means to talk to someone who has a bad breath. If you feel like you can be one of those people, here are some tips for you that will help to fight bad breath.

If you are not sure about your breath, make a simple test. Take a piece of cotton and get a sample of saliva from your throat. Smell it. You can also floss your teeth and smell a teeth floss to sea if it smells or not.

Most common causes of bad breath are unhealthy teeth and gums. Inadequate dental hygiene also contributes to you feeling bad. If you don’t take a good care of your teeth, chronic inflammation can develop and this will cause bad breath. Since bad breath is cause by bacteria, it is very important to clean not only your teeth, but also your tongue as it usually has lots of bacteria.

If you constantly feel thirsty, bad breath will probably lead you too. This happens because of misbalanced activity of saliva glands. People who experience stress, the one who are on diet or smokers have bad breath more often as well. Sometimes the problem lays much deeper than just improper dental care. Bad breath can be also caused by various diseases, such as kidney or liver failure, inflammation of bladder and lung diseases.

Poor diet is another cause of bad breath. If you eat only couple of time per day, you reduce production of saliva which leads to bad breath. If you eat too much sweets and fat food, you will have a bad breath too.

If you want to get rid of bad breath, first of all you must take care of your teeth and entire mouth. Don’t forget to use mouthwash and dental floss after brushing your teeth. Always have a spray with menthol with you so that you could refresh your breath. After eating, have some chewing gum if you cannot brush your teeth. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. They contain fiber which are easy to digest so they do not cause bad breath.
