Citrus fruit bath will help to prevent cold

How to prevent from cold, boost your immunity and take care of your skin at the same time? The answer is simple – you just need citrus fruits, or better to say hot bath with oranges, lemons and grapefruits.

All citrus fruits contain vitamin C which increases resistance to infections. Additionally, it contains ascorbic acid which stimulates the production of antibodies and positively influence production of immune cells.

According to cosmetologists, vitamin C is a vitamin of young skin. It stimulates fibers of connective tissue, stimulates skin cells and inhibits formation of fine wrinkles. Ascorbic acid is necessary for production of collagen which is required in order to keep your skin elastic. Organic acids make our skin smoother and whiter.

Citrus fruit bath soothes our nervous system. Oranges, grapefruits and lemons help to overcome fatigue in winter, reduce irritation and make your mood better. The aroma of citrus fruits positively affects respiratory tract and also has anti-inflammatory effects. It’s an excellent way to treat cough or runny nose.

You should have such bath for around 10-15 minutes twice a week. Water temperature should be 35-40 C. Don’t forget to massage your entire body with a special massage glove. Essential oil of orange is also a great mean to fight against cellulite, it improves elasticity of the skin, nourishes and rejuvenates the skin.
