5 ways to escape from autumn depression

The most common symptoms of seasonal depression are insomnia at night and daytime sleepiness, poor mood, fatigue, apathy, increased appetite, etc. Such a state may continue even for few months. If you see that your life does not bring as much of joy, make sure you do something about it.
1. More light. The lack of light makes us feel bad. The solution is simple: go out for a walk more often (especially if the sun is shining) , at night do not watch TV and instead go to sleep earlier. Also ensure proper lighting in the mornings and evenings.
2. More delicious products. Add to your diet turkey, wholegrain bread, sour milk products, spinach, dried apricots, chocolate and cocoa, do not forget to drink enough of fluids (it is difficult to maintain the right tone of the body if you are dehydrated).
3. Less depression promoting products. Avoid fast foods, eat less of fried food .
4. Relax , relax . Try to create in your life at least a bit of the summer in your life. If it is possible, spend a few days in sunny countries , treat yourself in a spa treatment or start to growing flowers. Scientists say that even a tiny “garden” of two or three plants help to resist depression .
5. Buy a new handbag . Actually it doesn’t have to be a handbag. Buy whatever makes you happy. It may sound funny but shopping can really prevent depression.
