5 ways to overcome stress

Lavender. Researchers from Chicago claim that the scent of levender reduces the level of alpha waves in the brain (these waves are responsible for stress). If you don;t have lavender, aromatic oils can help. Apply some lavender oil on your wrists ins stressful situations.

Getting up on time. Many of us snooze the alarm clock several times in the morning. However, the researches have proved that waking up and falling asleep again repeatedly have negative impact on brain work and it can be related to stress. Make sure you find the best time to to wake up and get up as soon as your alarm goes on.

Relaxing in the shower. Scientists have proved tat a shower should take at least 20 minutes. This way we will activate our parasympathetic nervous system, which helps to calm down. 20 minutes in the shower in the morning will protect you from tension for the next 12 hours.

More laughter. Probably we all heard that laughter heals. It raises the levels of dopamine, oxytocin and serotonin.

Exercising. Even a few minutes of physical activity can stimulate the production of serotonin and norepinephrine, hormones that are responsible for raising our mood. So instead of stressing out , do some physical exercises and you will calm down.
