There is not one answer to the question why cancer occurs. However, a lot of specialists agree that a diet has a big influence on that. Here’s a list of products that reduce the risk of developing the disease.

Raisins. Researchers have found that raisins contain a powerful antioxidant which inhibits breast, prostate and gallbladder cancer. Raisins have much more of this antioxidant than a fresh grapes or wine.

Seafood. Eating salmon, sardines and mackerel are especially important, because they are rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Shrimps, mussels and squid are rich in selenium which helps prevent formation of pancreatic and prostate tumors.

Oranges. These fruits are rich in flavonoids and vitamin C. It is a great preventative measure against stomach and skin cancer. Oranges contain as many as 22 active ingredients that protect against oncological diseases. If you eat one orange a day, you will reduce the risk of getting heart attack by as much as 20%.

Green tea. This is the greatest source of antioxidants. It helps stop the development of all kinds of tumors. Drinking green tea may protect against breast cancer too. Make sure you drink it without sugar.

Bananas. These fruits are another great product that cleans intestines and, at the same time, protects against formation of tumors. Bananas also gives a lot of energy. They contain vitamin K, which is required to maintain normal renal function, it also strengthens bones.

Tomatoes. Tomatoes reduce the risk of developing breast, lung, stomach, prostate and colon cancer. According to the researchers, their healing power lies in lycopene. Specialists recommend eating both fresh and processed tomatoes. Lycopene does not lose its properties when boiled, fried, stewed, etc.
