Tips how to deal with hangover

If you want to reduce the effects of alcohol, it would be great if you drink lots of water during the party, you should also never mix alcohol with sparkling drinks as they increase the absorption of alcohol. Also try drinking some milk before the party. It will cover your stomach walls with a film which will not allow the alcohol to go all over your body that quickly. However, if you are already after the party and you are having a hangover, here are some tips.

  • The best doctor is time. Let your body and blood to cleanse from toxins. Sleep as much as you can.
  • If you cannot sleep, take a shower. Make sure the water is warm or even better – get a contrast shower. Changes of temperature will help you to recover quicker.
  • After a shower, take a painkiller and a medication from poisoning.
  • Alcohol is a strong diuretic so make sure you drink enough of water. You can add some lemon juice to your water and drink as much as you can.
  • Don’t forget about vitamin C. Alcohol can easily remove potassium and the best source of it is citrus fruits.
  • Dissolve 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of sugar in some still water. Drink it slowly. It will help you to stabilize blood sugar levels.
