First aid when you have migraine

Migraine is one of the most unpleasant feelings that leaves you completely helpless. The main symptoms of is are nausea and feeling unwell.

Symptoms. Migraine pain actually covers half of the head and it is unbearable. Usually before migraine you feel fatigue, you are very sensitive to odors, sounds, you can have nausea, feel dizzy, etc. According to doctors, migraine is usually caused by blood pressure and brain ailments. When there is a lack of oxygen in our blood, blood vessels contract and then when they suddenly expand we feel pain. Migraine is considered to be a disease of young people, both men and women. However, women are more common to suffer from it. Migraine can be caused by stress, not managing your emotions properly, excessive TV watching, caffeine, sweets, alcohol and many other things.

What to do if you have migraine? First of all, you should talk to your doctor about it. Make sure you sleep enough, eat well, you don’t have any bad habits, stay in a fresh air for as long as possible. You should also exercise, avoid tension and worries. When you have a headache, it is really good to take a shower. Also make sure you stay in the sunlight from time to time. Check your stomach and liver functioning. If you don’t want to take medications, try drinking peppermint tea. Some types of headache can be reduced by eating salty food.
