How to cope with sweating?

Sweating is a normal human condition. We respond to heat, stress and various psychological changes. Our skin contains almost 4 million sweat glands which produce up to 11 liters of sweat a day. Excessive sweating may occur for a variety of reason: active lifestyle, increased stress, changes in diet and so on.

For many of us sweating is a real challenge. Sweat stains on clothes, white patches of deodorant, wet hands and bad smell are torturing many of us. Excessive sweating makes us feel uncomfortable and it can even cause dermatological disorders: skin redness, rash, in rare cases even appearance of wounds.

To reduce sweating you should avoid synthetic clothes. Nowadays we even have fabrics that have anti-bacterial properties, for example bamboo fiber. Nanotechnologies help us create fabrics that destroy bacteria and bad smell of sweat.

Daily hygiene is one of the most important things to reduce sweating. You may even get special antibacterial soap which fight against bacteria up to 24 hours.

Salt deodorants are becoming more and more popular all over the world. These deodorants kill bacteria that cause sweating and prevent against bad smell. They are made from natural stone that has no smell and does not cause any stains on clothes. It does not contain any chemicals, however, it does not reduce sweating.

Antiperspirants that contain aluminum chloride and chlorohydrate and they can reduce sweating. These are the most effective products to fight against sweating. High quality antiperspirant and stop or minimize sweating not only for a few hours but even for a few days.

There is one radical way to reduce sweating – botulin injections. These injections affect nerve endings and block release of sweat. The effect of botulin injections lasts for up to 7 months. However, they are pretty expensive and not everyone can afford them.
