How to detox your body?

Detox theme initiates lots of discussion and leads to various doubts. Representatives of traditional medicine are skeptical about this subject, while others promote body’s cleansing methods as the remedies capable to protect against all diseases. The argument is very simple – they claim that we all infect our body with junk food, dirty air and lifestyle that is full of toxins. In addition, these toxins can’t be removed from our body as easy as we may have thought and that’s why we need detox.

The biggest problem of modern human is eating lots of junk food and too little foods that are rich in fiber, such as fruits, vegetables and grains. We also forget that we usually drink too little fluids, so it becomes almost impossible for our body to eliminate toxins. Finally, we have less physical activity than we should have.

The reason why we need to get rid of toxins is very simple – it is believed that if the body is poisoned with toxins, it leads us to constipation, abdominal distension, bloating, indigestion, weight gain, fatigue, various skin problems, bad breath and body odor and depression. Besides, toxins make it difficult to concentrate, initiate memory problems and headaches. Because of them, sometimes we feel swollen feet.

Detox methods that can be used by anyone:
Pure water. In order to clean your body, it’s recommended drinking pure water. You should get 8-10 glasses of water or other fluid per day.

Physical activity. In order to activate your metabolism and remove toxins by sweating, you should exercise three times a week for half an hour. In order to have the best results, it’s recommended trying different activities, like walking, riding a bike, jogging, skiing or enjoying yoga.
Massage and sauna. Sauna opens pores and eliminates toxins from the body. In addition, Ayurvedic massage with essential oils have also been known to be used for toxin removal.
