How to prepare the skin for autumn?

There are some products that are particularly useful for the skin. Some of them help to avoid frostbites, some of them fight against aging. Try to include these products in your menu and feel the result:

Almonds

Almonds are rich in vitamin E, which helps to resist the negative effects of the cold. After some research it was found that volunteers who consumed 14 milligrams of the vitamin (about 20 almonds) daily, suffered from the frostbites less than those who weren’t eating. That’s because vitamin E is an antioxidant that helps to protect skin cells against cold, ultraviolet radiation and other environmental factors. Besides, you can replace almonds with peanut butter (two tablespoons) or a half of a cup of broccoli.

Tomatoes

Lycopene, which causes red color of tomatoes, helps to avoid the exposure of free radicals, so it stops aging processes. The best way how lycopene is absorbed is to heat the tomatoes – half of a cup of cooked tomatoes has 16 milligrams of lycopene. You can get the same amount of lycopene from a slice of watermelon.

Carrots

Carrots will help to prevent your pores from clogging because of vitamin A. Keep in mind that to get this result, it is recommended eating them with a drop of oil or other fat. Vitamin A is also said to stop the growth of cancerous cells, so try to have about half a glass of carrot juice to get this effect. In addition, a cup of milk or a slice of cheddar cheese is also recommended.

Linseed

They contain omega-3 fatty acids, which help to prevent the appearance of skin blemishes, wrinkles and also protect against frostbites. According to The British Journal of Nutrition, the research which included 300 participants, revealed that about half of tablespoon of linseed made their skin less sensitive.
