Moisturizing is the first step to beautiful skin in spring

In spring we have to start taking care of our skin even more since our bodies require extra vitamins and our skin becomes drier and looks more tired. Many women think that if they have a very dry skin they just need to get a really rich nourishing cream. Actually that is not what they need. Since in spring our skin becomes dehydrated, we need to moisturize it, first of all.

In order to maintain constant water balance in your skin, you need to make steam baths and make compresses. However, you should remember that this is not good for people who have bronchial asthma, hypertension or suffer from some cardiovascular diseases.

First of all wash your face with water or clean it with a good lotion. Boil 1.5 liter of water with 1-2 teaspoons of chamomile tea. Bend over the bowl and cover your head with a towel. If you have oily skin, stay like this for 15-20 min, if your skin is normal – 10-15 minutes, if your skin is dry – 5-10 minutes. After this spray some cold water and dry it with a paper tissue. After 20-30 minutes appy a nourishing mask.

Cold wind is particularly bad for dry skin, which lacks moisture. If you have such skin you can make this mask. Mix 100 grams of honey, 2 egg yolks and 100 grams of olive oil. Warm it up slightly and apply it to your face. Leave it for 20 minutes and wash it off with warm water.

You can also make a face mask with mayonnaise. Mix 1 table spoon of mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of castor oil. Apply this mast to your face before going to bed and leave it for 7-10 minutes. Wash it off and use a good moisturizing night cream.

In the morning you can make a citrus mask which is not only good for dehydrated skin but it will also help you to wake up and feel fresh in the morning. Mix juice of one grapefruit or orange with 2 tablespoons of honey. Apply it to your face and leave it for 10 minutes. Rinse it with cold water. If your skin is extra dry you can wash your face with milk.
