Baking soda can be used in many different ways. It can be added to the batter if you don’t have baking powder, it can be used to neutralize unpleasant refrigerator odors, soften plaque, whiten teeth and reduce teeth sensitivity. And that’s not all.

Baking soda can be used as a natural deodorant. Mix it with a little bit of water to and apply on underarm instead of your regular deodorant. It will not protect you from sweating, but it will fight against bad smell.

Whitening toothpaste. Take one tablespoon of baking soda, add a few drops of water and 5 drops of hydrogen peroxide. Mix well and use as a toothpaste. Rinse very well after brushing your teeth. Do not abuse it and only use it once a week or two.

Dry Shampoo. Sprinkle some baking soda on your hair roots, rub with a dry towel, shake your hair and comb. It will look cleaner and help you to prevent your hair from washing. It is a great option when you are in a hurry.

Soda is a great product to wash your hair. Soda solution can be used as a shampoo substitute. You can also add a little bit of baking soda to your shampoo and wash your head as you normally. Baking soda effectively removes dirt residue from your hair.

Skin peeling. Mix some baking soda and water. Spread it on yout face, hands, massage and rinse. It will remove dead skin cells effectively.

Relaxing bath. Mix soda with sea salt, add some favorite essential oil (for example, lavender or jasmine essential oils) and dissolve in the bath.
