3 tips how to reduce your portions
Whatever diet you choose, its essence is to eat less. So basically, if you simply reduce portion size, you can expect for significant results. SO here are some tips how to do it.
- Snack on schedule. Many people complain that their diet plans are ruined by permanent snacking. And the worst part is that we are tempted to snack not only because we feel hungry. We often snack just to get comfortable break between doing different tasks (eg. Cake with coffee), to try something we haven’t before (a colleague brings some of his culinary experiments), and finally because we think we will not have time to eat anything in a few hours. In this case, dieticians recommend to eat your main meals and snack every 3 hours.
- Slow down. The faster you eat, the more you will end up eating. When you eat too fast, you do not understand when you are full. When you eat slowly and chew food well, the satiety comes quicker.
3. S size clothing – S size plate. Choose the right size of plates. It has been proved that even if you are accustomed to eating a certain amount of servings, you eat more if you choose big plates.
