5 tips to increase your metabolism

Don’t forget your breakfast! People who do not eat breakfast often have slow metabolism. That means they eat more during the day and especially in the evening. In order to avoid that you should eat a nourishing breakfast every single day, choose a complete meal for your lunch, and eat your dinner 3 hours before sleeping. You can also include snacks in between these meals, such as fruits, nuts, etc.

Sleep enough. Good sleep contributes to weight loss process. This was proven by scientific researches. Enough sleep at night allows your body to rest and build muscle, which helps during the day to maintain a high metabolic rate.

Drink enough of water. “Depending on your daily diet you should drink at least 1.5 liter of water every day. A dehydrated body is breaking down energy production. Water provides a feeling of satiety, so it reduces the risk of overeating.

Exercise more. If you have a sedentary job and you do not exercise, your metabolism is much slower than it could be. Take a break, go for a walk, exercise every two hours if you have a sedentary job.

Proper nutrition will help to speed up your metabolism too. Proper diet (breakfast, lunch and dinner) accelerates metabolism, while fasting – slows it down. Avoid sugar, potatoes, rice and flour dishes.Feel free to eat fruits, vegetables, legumes (beans). Add hot spices, such as chili peppers, ginger, hot pepper, mustard, wasabi, and so on, to your food.
