Rice diet. Lose weight and avoid many diseases

Rice diet was created in the middle of the twentieth century by a German doctor Walter Kempner. He said that rice diet helps to prevent diseases associated with diabetes and hypertension. Moreover, people who often eat rice, get sick much less often.

Rice Diet is divided into two phases. The first phase consists of the body detoxification. You do not only eat rice, but also many fruits and wholegrain products. It is prohibited to use salt and it is recommended to drink plenty of water. You should detoxify your body for one week. Such a body cleaning helps to prevent high blood pressure and it normalizes blood sugar levels.

The second phase also lasts for one week. You can eat vegetables, beans, fruits, wholegrain products, fish, chicken, pork and of course rice. During the second phase you are allowed to consume more calories.

If you want to follow this diet, you are recommended to consult your doctor, especially if your overweight is high.
Here is a rice diet sample menu

BREAKFAST

1 cup of rice
1 cup of fresh fruit
Unsweetened coffee / tea

or

1 cup of rice
½ of melon
A slice of wheat bread
Unsweetened coffee / tea

LUNCH

A cup of rice with vegetables
½ cup of skim cream cheese with a lettuce leaf
Unsweetened coffee / tea

or

1 cup of rice
Cream cheese with a tomato
Unsweetened coffee / tea

DINNER

1 cup of rice
1 chicken breast
½ cup of cooked carrots
One fresh pear
Unsweetened coffee / tea

or

1 ½ cup of rice
1 slice of cooked pork or beef
1 orange
Unsweetened coffee / tea
